Kerala is a land rich in culture and tradition. The preparation of traditional food dishes is in many cases a direct link to the cultural heritage of a land and its people. Kerala has her own language, her own styles of dance, her own artistic traditions and very important to all Malayalees, her own cuisine.
Kochi girl Pearle Maaney alias Serah in the show is a student of Media Studies at Christ College, Bangalore. Passionate in photography and bike riding, kitchen used to be a far off junction for her. Coming with Taste Of Kerala, now she says -
"Cooking is fun with learning. There is a cook in everyone of us. By watching TOK and experimenting with what you saw, you can really become a traditional cook and at the same time get a deeper understanding of our culture."
